Learning materials
Find explanations a learner finds useful.
- Compare explanations
- Rate clarity
- Suggest the next example
A learner could prefer a worked example over a long explanation. A teaching tool could learn that preference while choosing between materials covering the same concept.
Where the small model fits
A small scorer ranks explanation representations using learner feedback. Checks on correctness and evidence of learning remain separate from the person's style preference.
What would need to work
Measure understanding on new questions as well as satisfaction. Liking an explanation does not prove that it teaches the subject better.
