A little context helps distinguish the total from cash paid, change and individual prices. The trained selector still got 17 totals wrong.
What was tested?
156 receipts trained the selector. Fifty held-out receipts were grouped separately by merchant name; one had no usable reference total, leaving 49 scorable cases. This uses a contestant-corrected SROIE annotation mirror, not its official test split. OCR time and noisy scans remain untested.
